The tide has shifted
As this Chicago Sun Times post reveals, a majority of Americans want Congress to consider impeachment for George Bush if it is proven that he lied about Iraq. The numbers were 50% favoring - 44% opposing, with a margin of error +/- 3.1%.
The statement evaluated was:
“If President Bush did not tell the truth about his reasons for going to war with Iraq, Congress should consider holding him accountable by impeaching him.”
What is more amazing was that 39% strongly agreed and only 30% strongly disagreed. Majorities favored impeachment in the West, South and Northeast areas of the country.
Bring it on.
