Karen Hughes – America's wicked witch

“US Undersecretary of State Karen Hughes concluded her diplomatic voyage aimed at repairing US image in the region. Away from considerations of success or failure, what is more important about this visit is the ethical dimension. First, the whole campaign was designed to make a shift in the way Muslims perceive the US and its policies. An objective based on the assumption that, “it is the Muslims’ problem that they fail to understand the heavenly US foreign policies and holy wars to bring justice and peace to the Muslim World.” As the US is claiming to bring to the Muslims justice and democracy and a whole package of high US values, it is also trying to teach them how to perceive the world and how to live their lives. Therefore, not only are the Muslims ignorant about the so-called justice and democracy but also they lack common sense to “correctly” understand the world around them including US foreign policies. In a nutshell, the US is trying to tell the world how to live, how to think and how to behave.....”
