To lie

The Merriam Webster definition:
Main Entry: lie Function: verb1 : to make an untrue statement with intent to deceive2 : to create a false or misleading impression. synonyms LIE, PREVARICATE, EQUIVOCATE mean to tell an untruth. LIE is the blunt term, imputing dishonesty . PREVARICATE softens the bluntness of LIE by implying quibbling or confusing the issue . EQUIVOCATE implies using words having more than one sense so as to seem to say one thing but intend another .

So just what are the Bushies doing in their feeble attempts to convince America that they did not mislead anyone by manipulating Iraq war intelligence?

They are lying. Let's not prevaricate or equivocate about it.
