Neocons destroy the climate

Today, the United States rejected a Canadian proposal attempting to include the US in future global talks on climate change, in a new round, to discuss the extension of mandatory cutbacks in carbon emissions.

Exhibiting the standard neocon imperious attitude that disregards every other inhabitant of the planet, U.S. delegation head Paula Dobriansky stated “It is our belief that progress cannot be made through these formalized discussions.....We also believe firmly that negotiations will not reap progress, as indicated, because there are differing perspectives.” Gee, isn't that what negotiations are for – a method for finding ways around differing perspectives in order to reach a common consensus?

Dobriansky is a member of the neocon fascist group, the Project for a New American Century and is a co-signer of the letter sent to Pres. Bill Clinton in 1997, urging invasion of Iraq.
