He's useless

Trying to keep the public on his side, Bush made the second of four planned speeches to bolster his failed policy in Iraq. He keeps cherry picking one or two isolated “successes” and falsely implies they permeate through the whole country. He keeps using the same tired language , making the same tired claims, resulting in the same tired and false information for America. He just doesn't get it.

Rep. John Murtha, a senior member of the House Appropriations Committee, stated that military representatives have informed him they will be asking for additional Iraq war funds of ~$100B in 2006. Add to that the $50B Congress may approve this year and the ~$224B it has cost us so far.

“Like most of Iraq, the reconstruction in Najaf has proceeded with fits and starts since liberation....It's been uneven...Sustaining electric power remains a major challenge. ... There are still kidnappings and militias and armed gangs are exerting more influence than they should in a free society.”

We were told it would be over in 3 months and that Iraq's oil revenue would pay for the war. He cannot be believed on anything.
