Ban or not? 
Georgie actually stood up at a podium today and stated “We are finding terrorists and bringing them to justice. We are gathering information about where the terrorists may be hiding. We are trying to disrupt their plots and plans. Anything we do ... to that end in this effort, any activity we conduct, is within the law. We do not torture,". At the same time, Doctor Death Cheney has forcefully appealed to the Congress to exempt the CIA from the proposed torture ban bill. So I guess torture is not allowed except when it is.
This is a real basic choice – one even Bush should be capable of understanding.
Do we want to be a nation that bans torture – or don't we? You can't just have a little torture – just like you can't be just a little pregnant.
