No Surprise

America's wonderful, compassionate, and caring Vice President, Dick “Torture” Cheney strongly defended a secret domestic eavesdropping operation and also insisted it did not violate civil liberties.

"The enemy that struck on 9/11 is weakened and fractured yet it is still lethal and planning to hit us again. Either we are serious about fighting this war or we are not....(some politicians were) "yielding to the temptation to downplay the ongoing threat to our country and to back away from the business at hand."

Americans are eternally grateful that we have Papa (I had other priorities) Cheney to steal er, protect our liberties.

Sen. Russ Feingold dismissed Cheney's argument as "the kind people like to make sometimes when they're trying to cover their tracks."
