Proving once again that the Republican leadership has no capability for logical thought, Sen. Bill Frist has sounded off on why he believes leaking the existence of secret CIA torture centers is worse than the torture occurring there. Frist stated “I am not concerned about what goes on and I'm not going to comment about the nature of that.” He also added that he has knowledge of classified information and prison activity - “I'm going to make sure that everything that's done is consistent with the Constitution ... and the laws of the United States of America....What is the actual and potential damage done to the national security of the United States and our partners in the global war on terror?”

So lets try to get this straight, Frist will make sure torture is done consistent with the Constitution .... and the laws of the United States of America. What Article of the Constitution does torture appear in? What law of the United States of America defines how to conduct torture? Bill, if you give it a little thought , you might realize that actual and potential damage to the national security of the United States is caused by torturing of people in these camps. These immoral acts do nothing but incite more hatred for America. If you can't understand this, you deserve a great deal of pity.

As part of your receiving a medical degree, didn't you declare your dedication to the goals of medicine? Doesn't that declaration ask you to state “I WILL MAINTAIN the utmost respect for human life from its beginning even under threat and I will not use my medical knowledge contrary to the laws of humanity”

Hang your head in shame.
