Bald Faced Liar

For the majority of Americans who really want to believe that their President is honorable and truthful with the nation, this latest betrayal is the last straw. There is videotape evidence of him being informed well before the levees in New Orleans were breached during hurricane Katrina – that they would be breached. Bush lied and lied repeatedly regarding his knowledge of the breach possibility and also when he first became aware the breach had occurred.

In dramatic and sometimes agonizing terms, federal disaster officials warned President Bush and his homeland security chief before Hurricane Katrina struck that the storm could breach levees, put lives at risk in New Orleans' Superdome and overwhelm rescuers, according to confidential video footage.

The footage — along with seven days of transcripts of briefings obtained by The Associated Press — show in excruciating detail that while federal officials anticipated the tragedy that unfolded in New Orleans and elsewhere along the Gulf Coast, they were fatally slow to realize they had not mustered enough resources to deal with the unprecedented disaster.

Bush declared four days after the storm, "I don't think anybody anticipated the breach of the levees" that gushed deadly flood waters into New Orleans. But the transcripts and video show there was plenty of talk about that possibility — and Bush was worried too.

He treats Americans like pawns, like disposables, like they are inconsequential. Apparently, to him, the citizens are a hindrance, in the way of his grand aims to reward friends by fleecing the country. His acts against America are truly treasonous and increasingly dangerous. He needs to go. The way to de-fang him is available to the nation this year - Congress must change from being ruled by Chimpie's Republican cuckolds to one that is under Democratic control.
